• Juice of ½ lemon 
  • 4 bananas, cut in half lengthwise 
  • 50g (2oz) butter 
  • 25g (1oz) flaked almonds 
  • 30ml (2tbsp) clear honey

 

Sprinkle the lemon juice over the bananas. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the bananas and cook, turning once, until browned on both sides. Transfer to a warmed serving plate. Add the almonds to the butter remaining int he pan and cooked until lightly browned. Stir in the honey and heat through. Pour over the bananas and serve immediately.
